Complementary Thinking has:
- A valid DBS Enhanced Disclosure
- Worldwide Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Public Liability Insurance
- Professional Membership of University Mental Health Advisors Network (UMHAN).
Complementary Thinking will manage boundaries and at all times operate within the limits of their own expertise, recognise where that expertise has the potential to be exceeded and where necessary signpost and support the client to find and engage with the services needed.
We will be aware of the potential for conflicts of interest of either a commercial or emotional nature to arise through the coach/mentoring relationship and deal with them quickly and effectively to ensure there is no detriment to the client or sponsor.
It is important to acknowledge that Complementary Thinking will not:
- Complete any work for students
- Proof-read or amend any work for students
- Provide specific subject tuition
- Sign any documents on behalf of students
- Provide counselling
- Provide advocacy services
It is therefore politely asked that students avoid requesting Complementary Thinking to facilitate any of the above aspects to university learning.
